Hi! I’m Sam, a Thai-iced-tea-enjoying writer and freelancer who loves learning all sorts of artistic disciplines! Most of all, I love storytelling and the craft of weaving strong action-thriller plots with a deeper, hopeful meaning rooted in characters. I love watching my characters tug on the story and pull it their own way—they often surprise me!

Most of my inspiration can be traced to my love for digital worlds and the environments crafted by the unsung artisans in game development.

I play almost any genre I can get my hands on, but my favorites are: Outer Wilds, No Man’s Sky, Monster Hunter, Bloodborne, Lies of P, Elden Ring, Persona 5 Royal, Metaphor: Refantazio, and pretty much anything Nintendo has made since the Gamecube.

I am well-versed in the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 Suite, Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, Final Draft, and coding. I designed this website :)

As for my Instagram handle? I’m Sam, and I live by the beach lol. So, sand ‘n sam. Kinda like rock n’ roll but not quite as fun to say, hehe.
